Anotace knihy

The book combines data, mathematical and statistical models, and information technology to produce some insightful alternatives to enable decision makers evaluate performance of decisions under various situations. It provides different systematic mechanisms to explore a range of business contexts, factors and relationships to gain insights and drive business in competitive business settings. In simple words, business analytics make business practices intelligent and equip practitioners with predictive capabilities. Analytics is rising as one of the significant areas of business studies and stimulating the interests of scholars and practitioners worldwide.   The scope of business analytics is continuously expanding, with organizations like IBM, Deloitte, General Electric, Amazon, Netflix among its prominent users. After an assessment of different areas of business practices with respect to the necessity of analytics, we found that analytics is used in every business domain for the critical decision making and therefore we would like to propose to bring out an edited volume on 'Analytics Enabled Decision Making' It has been recognized that generally available books are limited in terms of managerial perspectives and coverage of concepts, methods and tools, which is a primary reason for planning this edited volume. The book proposes to incorporate the works of professionals, academicians, and scholars from around the world, so that comprehensive knowledge and skills can be delivered through diverse perspectives, cases, and applications of different analytical tools, approaches and platforms. The book would be an international reference of business science for the target market of professionals, academicians, researchers, doctoral scholars and students of upper-level PG programs throughout the world, research organizations and institutional libraries.
