In this book the author embarks upon an adventurous journey to an asymmetric world of ring theory with a small excursion of axiomatics as one reads through and leaves behind the calm and tranquil symmetric world.He stresses upon the fact that in spite of the lack of symmetry and the ease of the old make-up,it offers new structural insights into mathematics.As one appreciates the new structures he can readily perceive the classy beauty resulting from the additional symmetry of ring theory.Though to some extent the initial part is sort of a generic research text, the later part deals specifically with the works of the author s research interest viz. the so called Goldie character of the asymmetric structure of this court yard of algebra, whether it is in the case of wreath sum or topological settings.
