With each encounter, filled with hope, she dove into subject with a vengeance. While she learned much about herself and others, each road she took only seemed to add to that heavy burden she carried with her always. Having a basic foundation of pain and anger, it wasn't difficult to continue to build that into a fortress all of her own, and thereby making her isolation almost impenetrable and making it indeed, a long journey, a long way to go.
