Anotace knihy

The Stray Who Became A Service Dog is based on the true story of a stray, a dog found wandering the streets of Tennessee. The hero is Shawn, a blind boy who thinks he has no friends and does not want to go to school. The stray, N.E., becomes the boy's service dog and together they learn to care for each other. N.E., who inspired the story, was the author's service dog and wonderful companion. A seven year old mixed breed, when adopted by the author, N.E. had been in a Tennessee shelter for a long time. He knew nothing. Together they worked with a dog trainer, and N.E. became the author's service dog.
