Anotace knihy

This study examined the spiritual attitudes of K-12§public school principals. Data were collected and§analyzed regarding the spiritual transcendence§orientation of K-12 public school principals.§Piedmont s Spiritual Transcendence Scale (1999, 2003)§was utilized to gather data including demographic§variables and spiritual attitudes. Statistical§analyses indicated a difference in spiritual§transcendence orientation between elementary public§school principals and secondary public school§principals, and between women and §men in these roles. There was not a significant§difference found among age categories in the K-12§public school principal respondents studied. Female§and elementary school principals reported the highest§levels of spiritual transcendence. It was the§intention of this research to contribute to a base of§knowledge regarding the spiritual transcendence§orientation of K-12 public school principals.
