Hydroelectricity contributes 17% into the world generated electricity and play an important role in energy supply in many countries. In Vietnam, natural conditions create favorable conditions for hydroelectric power development. There has been massive development of hydroelectricity in recent years, causing serious negative impact on environment and living of residents.
