This book was originally published in 1909 and contains a collection of classic fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm wonderfully illustrated by Arthur Rackham. Tales include Briar Rose, The Elves and the Shoemaker, Clever Hans, The Goosegirl, The Seven Ravens, Iron Hans and many many more. Arthur Rackham (1867-1939) was one of the premier illustrators of the early 20th Century. He illustrated many books, the first of which was published in 1893. His haunting humour and dreamlike romance adds to the enchantment and fantasy of children's literature.
