Modern Couples Sharing Money, Sharing Life is the result of a five-year collaboration of sociologists in three very different countries: Sweden, Spain and the USA, investigating how individuals in intimate couple relationships navigate their daily lives in the context of a changed and changing modernity. In-depth, extended interviews were conducted with couples in exploring questions about their financial arrangements, housework, child-care, careers, leisure time activities and sexual relations.
