Cheating is running rampant in university systems across the United States, and a new case can be found in the news every week.§§Considering the economic climate of the U.S. culture, it is more important than ever that we start re-incorporating ethics into the college curriculum. Many disciplines have openly rejected the idea of incorporating ethics at the expense of their own practical skills curriculum . This essay is suggesting an incorporation of ethics by means of the academic honesty and integrity program already in place on campuses; creating a step between offense and a failing grade for the course is vital to the learning possibilities ethical violations have to offer.
