This undergraduate textbook provides an introduction to High Performance Computing (HPC) for Data Science and is divided into two parts. The first covers the fundamentals of HPC and the second part describes the basics of Data Science.§The main goal of this textbook is to allow the reader to design parallel algorithms and then program the algorithm using C++ with the C binding of MPI. Only a basic knowledge of algorithms and programming abilities are assumed.
