Anotace knihy

A Theology of Religions asks the question, what is the theological relationship among the multiplicity of wisdom traditions? Many responses to this question rely on meta-narratives, often inadvertently assuming male-centric or imperialistic positions. This work seeks to compensate for these trajectories, first by exploring the implications of removing, or de-centering, universal systems. Through postcolonial feminist theories, I deconstruct hegemonic discourses that undermine plurality, thereby demonstrating why subverting universal schemes is not only tenable, but also indispensible for constructing a religious pluralism that is more de-colonized and gender sensitive.
