Welche Anforderungen stellen die Konzepte von Industrie 4.0 an die Berufsbildung in Industrie und Handwerk? Antworten auf diese Frage entwickeln Autor:innen aus Wissenschaft und Praxis der beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung in diesem Sammelband. Im Zentrum stehen die arbeitsprozessbezogenen Ansätze, um die betriebliche Nähe und Gestaltungsoffenheit von Aus- und Weiterbildung zu erhalten sowie die moderne Beruflichkeit bei der Gestaltung von Berufsbildern zu ermöglichen. In den Beiträgen werden erste Erkenntnisse für Veränderungen in der Facharbeiterqualifizierung ebenso vorgestellt wie Handlungsempfehlungen, Ideen zur Gestaltung der betrieblichen Weiterbildung und Modelle zur Kompetenzentwicklung in der Industrie 4.0.
