My intent is to prevent this type of aggressive intimidation as well as transform those who have been labeled a "Bully." There is hope. This book is written for anyone who has ever been bullied. Perhaps it may have been in school or on a playground, or in your neighborhood. It may have been through phone texting or emails. Yes, bullies come in all sizes and all ages. I've seen bullying behavior in preschool as well as elementary, and high schools. College is no exception nor is the work place. I also dedicate this book to anyone who has ever been labeled a "Bully." Yes, you read this correctly. Bullies are people too. I have discovered that they are natural leaders in need of structure, direction, and a healthy dose of self-confidence. This book provides the reader with the tools necessary to prevent bullying as well as reverse bullying behavior. Ten simple rules are designed to help any classroom, youth group, or organization to approach this sensitive topic. Why hummingbirds? Well that's easy. Hummingbirds are most definitely bullies. They are territorial, they fight with other's of their own species, and they can be mean when it comes to food sources. They are amazing to watch. While protecting their food supply, they dive bomb the others often bending their long and fragile beaks rendering them defenseless. Despite a large number of hummingbird feeders strategically placed in my yard, one very aggressive male became the main character of this story; "Billy the Bully."
