Anotace knihy

"Said the Poet" are writings of poetry, short stories, dramatized dreams, experiences of life by many different people of all ethnicities, ages, backgrounds and statuses from different time periods, instructions, political and controversial outlooks, writings of wisdom and much more, all as told and documented by a poet of much life experience of the poetry he calls life itself, and the true poem one writes just by simply living it. The writings are done from a poetic platform but as "the poet" has said it may or may not be all necessarily poetry but indistinctly written as to leave it up to the reader to interpret and differentiate for themselves what one writing may be informing us of, and what it may do for the individual in your own life by allowing it to both tear you down where weakness, prejudice, single-mindedness, isolation or stagnation may be, and build you up again with true fortitude of a broader aspect as retold through someone else's experience in their poem called life which you can in turn grow from and live through yourself. For poetry, as any true art is, is itself scene differently from the eyes of different beholders. And although the writings in "Said the Poet" may have their own basis meanings and opinions as written by the authors, each written title is up to the reader to give life to by reading it, thus making you by the end of "This book" the true and living, breathing poem of yourself, which is worthy to be documented and if you are brave enough, shared for the betterment of others. For "Said the Poet" is an empowering read of many named and unnamed characters of shared lives along the way and will bring satisfaction of one's self upon the completion of the journey you will take in reading it, and the discussions you will have both negative and positive concerning these writings. And some may also find their own life comparisons and similarities within some of them, thus you, the reader, contributing to what "the poet" has said and your own life now being shared with many audiences as a poem. For much of mankind goes through the same ups and downs in this poem of life that we all live with different lifestyles as their title and various parts of the earth as their background scenes. But being able to see how someone else succumbs and overcomes in theirs and applying it to your own is poetry at its best. This being not necessarily the poems of the author but simply something a poet has said by living, hence the title of "This book" being "Said the Poet". For life is poetry, and all that live it are writers of it.
