Anotace knihy

Freshman Chase Hathaway craves a regular, boring teenage life. But his life is anything but ordinary. Chase has just lost his father to Huntingtonżs, a genetic hereditary disease with no cure. As if losing his father isnżt bad enough, Chase now must come to terms with the fact that he may have inherited the gene for Huntingtonżs from his dad. His mom forbids him from having the simple blood test that will determine his fate. Normally a good student and athlete, Chaseżs grades and health start to fail after his father dies. When symptoms of Huntingtonżs start to show up, Chase convinces himself he must have the disease. Chase looks to his two longtime, childhood friends, Luke and Merry, to help him come to terms with his tragic reality. The three of them come up with ways to complete the items on their żlistż: driving, college, drinking, girls. What Luke and Merry donżt realize, is that the list means so much more to Chase. Itżs a list of things he wants to experience before he dies, whether it be by his own hand or the hand of fate.
